PROJECT SPONSORSHIP GUIDELINES

For individuals, companies, associations, or other groups that provide funds, services or goods for specific projects.

Recognition Levels:

  • For $500 - $4,999, the Project Sponsor would be listed within the project descriptions on the web site.
  • For $5,000 and greater, the Project Sponsor would be listed on the project summary sheets and on the project descriptions on the web site.

The following is a list of what a donation may typically fund for projects:

$50 - $100
  • Satellite phone time for emergencies
  • First-Aid kits for the field trips
  • One Night of in-country lodging for four volunteers
  • School supplies for a community school
  • Survey equipment for topographical mapping
  • Water quality test kits

$100 - $500
  • 10 – 15 day food supply for one volunteer
  • 10 days of van transportation in-country
  • Solar panel to provide a house with electricity
  • 100 bags of cement for a community project
  • One trip to create a new university chapter

$500 to $1,000

  • One water pump for an existing well
  • One volunteer’s airfare to South American countries
  • One handheld GPS
  • One digital scanner
  • One PowerLite S1 projector
  • One full water quality analysis including trace metals and organizes

$1,000 to $1,500
  • One volunteer’s airfare and lodging to Asian countries

$1,500 to $2,000

  • One volunteer’s airfare and lodging to African countries
  • Supplies to build one apron and headwall for a well
  • One solar computer
  • One laptop computer

$2,000 - $5,000

  • Supplies to build one water tank
  • Supplies to re-roof one local school

$5,000 - $10,000
  • Construction materials necessary for one community project
  • Create a revolving fund to finance ten assessment trips

$10,000 - $20,000
  • One well improvement project
  • Delivers three students to a project that can improve 1500 peoples standard of living

$20,000 - $30,000
  • One complete community project, including lodging and travel for five students and construction materials

$30,000 - $50,000
  • One complete community project, including lodging and travel for ten students and construction materials
