Tyler Palmer Memorial Fund
Tyler Palmer’s life encapsulated the finest qualities to be found in a professional and a human being. The founder and president of GreenMountain Engineering, Tyler extended his expertise beyond his clients and staff, and was instrumental in establishing the West Coast Regional governing body of Engineers Without Borders – USA as well as the San Francisco Professional Chapter. Tyler worked on a number of EWB-USA projects, including a solar lighting project in Haiti, the Belize sanitation project with EWB-Sacramento, and a trail building project in California with the chapter at San Jose State University. Tyler’s actions gave proof to the idea that engineers can play an instrumental role in addressing the challenges the world faces. His actions showed that one person really can make a difference, and for that, we will always remember him.
